Bank On Conference Website — CFE Fund

I designed and managed the look and feel of the website that hosted our fully virtual biennial Bank On Conference during the pandemic — welcoming over 500 attendees from major financial institutions, Bank On coalitions, the FDIC, the American Bankers Association, and city government. Because the live site was only available during the event, the walkthrough below captures the design.

Created Comms Performance Management Infrastructure

In December 2023, I spearheaded the overhaul of our UTM matrix and data collection processes. The previous system was rudimentary and prone to frequent campaign misattributions, making it difficult to disaggregate campaign data within Google Analytics.

• Recognizing these gaps, I proactively took the initiative to learn GA, allowing me to diagnose the system's faults and develop targeted solutions.
• I collaborated closely with a colleague through regular scenario planning discussions, taking charge of designing a structured, logical system that significantly enhanced campaign attribution — enabling more detailed data capture and recall, especially for email campaigns, and designed with scalability in mind.
• This UTM tagging matrix is the backbone of our communications performance management system, providing crucial insights into conversions and facilitating strategic campaign testing.
• I developed essential documentation, such as the Bit.ly Shortlink + UTM Tagging Guidance for NYCKR Texts, and conducted training sessions with the Parent Foundations and Community Scholarships teams to expand tracking capabilities across the organization.
• I expanded the scope of our tracking to include School Networks communications, resources, and print materials using Bit.ly links, QR codes, and a centralized data tracker, and introduced a new method for tracking Building Block Completion email traffic.
• Recognizing the need for automated, real-time data collection, I authored a comprehensive Comms Data Dashboard Proposal, and synthesized key email data that I presented during the Parent Foundations/Comms retreat.

Co-created Inventory Management Process

In collaboration with colleagues, I led the launch of a new inventory management process at NYC Kids RISE. Together, we co-authored the NYCKR Materials Processes and successfully facilitated the adoption of seven cross-collaborative inventory processes.

• These included key tasks such as re-ordering and replenishing stock, packing supplies, updating the inventory tracker, placing shipment requests, managing shipments through stamps.com, and determining accurate inventory counts.
• The implementation of these processes boosted our operational efficiency, supporting us to attend over 2.5 times more events this year — 125 in SY 2023–24 compared to just 44 in the previous year.
• Beyond improving our event capacity, I also led the design and setup of a new office inventory layout, ensuring better organization and access to materials.
• Recently, I took a proactive approach to refining and automating parts of the shipment process, incorporating feedback from team members and addressing evolving needs as the organization scales.

Remote Daily Live — In-Person Book Talk Series

By pitching a live, in-person event series, I launched Remote Daily’s first in-person book talk — with Bronx community leader Majora Carter as our inaugural guest, promoting her book Reclaiming Your Community. I negotiated a partnership with P&T Knitwear in the Lower East Side, who gave us the event space for free. We drew a great turnout for our first in-person event and an insightful Q&A session. I built the run of show end to end — writing the interview questions, creating the design assets, coordinating with the guest and musicians, running social media promotion, and performing tech checks before the show.

2024 Concert for College — NYC Kids RISE

A community benefit concert I helped produce, headlined by multi-Grammy-winning gospel artist and Hall of Famer Hezekiah Walker and held at the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center. The event raised over $200,000 for District 30 children’s NYC Scholarship Accounts. I project-managed most aspects of the event and held multiple roles throughout — coordinating with community partners, ensuring all communications and promotional materials were produced on time, liaising with venue staff, supporting ticketing and mass communications to guests, content capture, set-up, and much more.

2022 FEC Partner Convening — CFE Fund

I created all communications assets for the 2022 FEC Partner Convening — from the invitations, slides, infographics, banners, and swag to the printed agenda and programs we distributed. On-site, I also helped facilitate breakout-group discussions and kept time for the panels.

CFPI Podcast — CFE Fund

I launched and edited the CFPI Podcast for the CFE Fund. Teaching myself Adobe Audition in a week, I edited all the audio and delivered the project — including two episodes — within a two-week timeline. I also set up the CFE Fund’s Spotify for Podcasters account and produced all the artwork and copy to accompany the show.

Summer Jobs Connect Videos — CFE Fund

I worked with a design agency, CFE Fund program teams, and executive leadership to launch two explainer videos on banking accounts and direct deposit for Summer Jobs Connect participants. I led the storyboarding, wrote the script, and contracted voice actors to deliver the project on time and within tight budget constraints. Our partners now share these videos with youth while onboarding them into their summer youth employment programs.

Summer Jobs Connect Social Media Campaign

I led the national #SummerJobsConnect social media campaign — a youth-focused financial-empowerment contest spanning Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and email with over 130,000 participants. I set the strategy, authored the content guide used by 23 city partners nationwide, designed the weekly youth-voices contest, created a refreshed brand identity based on Gen Z visual trends, and produced the financial-literacy content that resonated with youth.

Below is the Social Media and Content Guide I authored for city partners to help them encourage Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) participants to engage in the Summer Jobs Connect contest — providing guidance on the contest launch, turnkey social copy and graphics they could post, and pro tips for scheduling posts to make the process easier.

Tax Time Social Media Toolkit

A social media toolkit I helped create for the #BankOn national campaign’s tax-season push, encouraging people to receive their tax refunds via safe, low-cost, nationally certified bank and credit union accounts. The toolkit gave Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) and Bank On coalition partners ready-to-post copy plus customizable Canva social cards to localize.
